ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (July 1, 2025) – Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), conducted a significant visit to the programme’s headquarters complaint centre today. During her inspection, she personally engaged with deserving women beneficiaries present at the facility.

For Benazir Taleemi Wazaif

Chairperson Khalid dedicated time to meeting the eligible women, attentively listening to their individual concerns and problems regarding the social safety net programme. She interacted with them sympathetically, demonstrating a commitment to understanding the challenges faced by BISP recipients firsthand.

Following these interactions, Senator Khalid issued strict directives to the BISP staff and management present at the complaint centre. She emphasized the critical need for the immediate resolution of all pending complaints lodged by beneficiaries.

Furthermore, the Chairperson underscored the paramount importance of ensuring the timely disbursement of due payments to all eligible women. She instructed officials to streamline processes and eliminate any delays preventing beneficiaries from receiving their entitled financial support.

This visit highlights the BISP leadership’s focus on improving service delivery and directly addressing the grievances of its core beneficiaries – vulnerable women across Pakistan. Chairperson Khalid’s directives signal a strong push for greater efficiency and accountability within the programme’s complaint redressal mechanisms, aiming to provide faster relief and financial security to those reliant on BISP support.
