Islamabad 08/07/2025: President Asif Ali Zardari has inaugurated the “Benazir Hunarmand Programme,” turning Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s vision – “Skill is your capital” – into reality for poor families.
This new initiative under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) will provide world-class vocational training to eligible BISP families in high-demand fields:
- Hotel Management
- Computer Operating & IT Skills
- Healthcare
- Beauty & Salon Services
- Construction & Technical Trades
Trainees will receive monthly financial support during their training. The programme aims to equip them with complete skills for self-reliance, opening doors to employment opportunities both within Pakistan and abroad.
“Learn skills, become empowered – this is Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s dream. By pursuing it, we are laying the foundation for a prosperous Pakistan,” stated an official message.

- Only families already eligible for BISP benefits can apply.
- Registration must be done through the official BISP portal.
- Applicants should contact their nearest BISP Tehsil Office for assistance with the portal registration process.
